Roots Intango - Natural - Rwanda

Intango (pronounced “Inango”) is a little washing station on the edge of Lake Kivu with a big comeback story. After its parent cooperative dissolved, leaving the station a bit shabby, our pals Gilbert and Gervais swooped in to save the day.

Gilbert, a Rwandan-Canadian coffee heavyweight, returned to his roots and has been a force for good in the coffee world for years. Now, with his best friend Gervais as the hands-on heart of the operation, they're living their dream of making a direct impact with local farmers.

Intango is so much more than a supplier—it's a partnership. This dynamic duo is on a mission to bring digital, standardized income to coffee producers, ensuring they get a reliable second payment for quality right at the start of the season.
